Dear Wagstaff Worldwide,

I would like to apply for a summer internship at the Wagstaff Worldwide

Chicago office. I became familiar with Wagstaff Worldwide during my
summer internship in the communication department of Louis Glunz.
I am a Communication Major at Wheaton College and will complete my
studies in May, 2016. My goal is to work in the Public Relations field,
specifically hospitality and event planning. I am especially interested in
interning with Wagstaff after an informational interview with Josie BergHammond, and learning about the dynamic environment and all the
different elements of promotional strategies.
I have experienced Public Relations in a variety of ways as a Young Life
volunteer. As a volunteer we plan and brainstorm various themed
events for students; Rebranding our social media image; Brainstorming
fundraising events with sponsors. At Louis Glunz I helped manage the
Facebook account and increased their presence on Facebook, as well
as assisting in the redesign of their website.
