Third Level Education: I achieved a First Class Honours Degree, B.A. Honours
Degree course in Fashion Design, in Limerick School of Art and Design,
Limerick Institute of Technology.
Leaving Certificate: I completed the Leaving Cert in 2008 and achieved 5
Honours and 2 Pass.
Experience:
September December 2015 I interned at Primark Head Office, Parnell
Street, with the Design Team. Here I designed for the company gaining
experience in Womenswear, Design, Performance Wear, trend reporting,
trend analysis, trend presentation, styling and visual merchandising, Adobe
programmes: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
2014 I was costume designer for amateur play group, Rasper Players, for
which I received two awards for Costume Design on their National Circuit
Tour with Animal Farm, by George Orwell, and invited to show at Smock
Alley Theatre, Temple Bar.

2013 Interned with Womenswear designer Sinead Doyle, here I gained

experience in design, trend analysis, pattern drafting, garment construction,
fitting and teaching. I also assisted Sinead Doyle as she joined the setting up
of the Louis Copeland National Tailoring Academy, of which she became
course co-ordinator, and gained experience in the Louis Copeland Tailoring
production rooms.
June 2011 I worked with Interior designer, Dominique Schefman, at Trudder
Lodge (http://www.trudder-lodge.com/), a Georgian built house, refurbished
to cater for weddings, parties and functions. I assisted the designer in
preparing the house for the promotional photo shoot, organising displays,
decorating the house and constructing furnishings for the bedrooms, and
photographing events for the promotional website.
2010-2012 Forever 21: In Forever 21 I worked in visual merchandising, and as
a sales associate, in both Womenswear and Accessories, dealing with
customers and customer service, meeting sales targets on a daily basis.
2006-2010 Waitressing and bar work in Casa Pepe Restaurant Wicklow,
Serpicos Restaurant Wicklow, and the Grand Hotel Wicklow. I dealt with
bookings, table service, and food preparation, bar work, Maitre De and
attending tills.
Awards & Skills:
2015: A selection of my work was on show at London Graduate Fashion
Week.
2015: Awarded the Student Designer of the Year Award, with Golden Egg
Productions.
2015: Awarded the Limerick Institute of Technology award for Innovative Use
of Fabric and Technical Ability.
2015: Named One To Watch by The Irish Times magazine.
2014: Presented with two awards for best costumes on the All Ireland Theatre
Circuit.
2013 - Finalist in TV3's Oasis Design Your Future Competition.
2011, 2014, 2015 & 2016: My work was selected and was displayed in the
L.S.A.D gallery and is currently on display.

Pattern Drafting: pattern cutting, pattern grading and garment construction.
