SUGGESTIONS.......HOWEVER, NONE OF THE QUESTIONS WERE

ANSWERED. SO IT REALLY ISNT FIXED.
Music at the Mission
Music played an important role in the life of
Mission San Juan Bautista. It all began when Father
Tapis joined to the mission. He had been a president.
He loved music and soon formed a choir for the
Indian boys and they loved to sing famously with an
organ. In fact, because of the beautiful music, many
Indians came to join the mission. Many of them even
joined the mission, and the choir became famous.
He taught them to read music using colors.
Incredibly, the mission music saved everyone. A
group of angry Tulare men came and attacked the
mission. Father Tapis was in a panic, and he didnt
know what to do. So he ran to the organ and began
playing it. The wonderful music calmed down the
angry Indians. Some even joined the mission. All in
all, the life of the mission was greatly affected by
Father Tapis and his music.
