    Clare's Bio: I am interested in teaching methodologies in e-learning, and Learner Analytics with a view to supporting and enhancing learning. There is a lack of inter-disciplinary skills in this eld, and an urgent need for more quali ed people to interpret the way that technology can be used to enhance learning in a traditional ESL (English as a Second Language) classroom environment. I am hoping through Web Science to be able to understand the potential for Learner Analytics, and other technologies, to be used in an integrated manner with other existing teaching methodologies.

    and activities offline.
    By identifying if a
    range of pedagogical
    approaches are used
    online,
    opportunities for
    greater classroom
    integration offline
    may appear.
