I'vebeenimplementingSuccessFactorsformanyyears,butonlyafewtimesforJobProfileBuilder(JPB).ButI'mproof
anolddogcanlearnnewtricks!
ForanyoneimplementingRecruitingandusingJBPtopopulateJobDescriptionsanddata,Ithinkthislittleknownfact
isveryimportanttoknowforanycustomerwhoalreadyhasPerformanceorDevelopmentandmaybeusing
CoachingAdvisororWritingAssistant(WACA).
ItturnsoutthatenablingJobProfileBuilder(JPB),whichisveryusefulforRecruitingrequisitions,eliminatesthe
abilitytoupdateWACAcontentinAdmintools.ThismightupsetsomecustomerswhoareeditingtheirWACA
content.

However,eventhoughyouradminlinksaregoneforupdatingcoachingadvisor,itisstillpossibletogetthecontent
updatedthroughexportandimportinprovisioning.AslongasyoudonotchangethelibrarynameorGUIDIDs,
updatingtheWACAcontentinProvisioningdoesntaffectyourJPBmappingsorcompetencyname,description,or
behaviorchangescompletedinadmintools.
