Bex Pellet pouch by Mercury

One of our local air rifle forum members Bex made these neat pellet pouches from leather
A simple to make item, only one problem leather is expensive.
So I had a go at making a Bex pellet pouch using a heavy canvas type material used for backpacks
and pouches as well as bags. You could also use a heavy vinyl material.
First I made a cardboard pattern from the dimensions and drawing as supplied by Bex. Then using a
white pencil traced the template onto the canvas. Cut out the pellet pouch and using a leather punch
made holes for the twine to sew the sides up.
The lanyard is black garden twine and is attached via holes punched through the top corners of the
pouch and through both sides of the folded back bits .
I loaded the pouch with about 100 pellets and it works well with the opening closing after each use.
With the pellet pouch hanging around your neck it is easy to one handed extract pellets as required.
