That abuse and violence against women often goes

under the radar or unnoticed in many societies of the
world, and sometimes is even seen as justified.

Women are often restricted from participating in

particular jobs reserved for men, or discriminated
against in the workplace and in job interviews.

social codes that promote abuse against women,
case studies of women who have experienced sexual
abuse.
