hypothesis.
The student will be able to come to a conclusion based on the results.
The student will be able to define centrifugal and centripetal force.

ACTION
Before-class preparation:
Locate the video and test the operation/viewing of the video on student devices.
Prepare the items for the beginning experiment (Ex from video- a bucket of
water).
During class

Notes: Begin as a class, then work independently until finished. Then meet as a
class again.

MONITOR
Ongoing assessment(s): The video has ongoing questions/assessment. The
teacher should monitor as they answer questions.
Accommodations and extensions: Extend by experimenting other ways
centripetal/centrifugal force works (i.e. tying an eraser to a pencil, pendulums,
spin holding a ball and then release)

Backup plan: Do the various experiments and have students answer the
questions and share with partner before moving on to the next concept and
experiment.
