Magic Eight Ball Is Your Math Grade Psychic?
Everyone knows that math is important. It is an integral part of everyday life from setting
your alarm clock for waking up in the morning to having enough money to buy an ice
cream after school. It is commonly accept that your ability to do math will affect your
success in all areas in your life. But is your math grade psychic?
How can you predict your science/history/english six weeks average from your six weeks
average in math?
Project Requirements:

Construct a scatterplot of your data (at least 20 sets). [8.11A]

Describe the association, if any, among the data. [8.5C]
Contrast your scatterplot with the Plot of Data from Math vs. P.E./Athletics. [8.5C]
Draw a trend line. [8.5D]
Predict your average in your other core class when your average in math is 60, 70,
80, 90, and 100. [8.5D]
Determine the mean absolute deviation of 10 data points closest to your trend line.
