BOMEntries
At thebottomofthedialog,thereisatoggletodeleterecordsfromtheBOMwhenthelast
symbolisdeleted.Ifthistoggleisunchecked,whenthelastversionofasymbolisdeleted
fromtheproject,thepartnumberassignedtothedevicewillremain.In theBOMexplorer,
thedevicewillbelistedasanunplaceddevice.

options,andUseroptions.Eachofthethreepartscanbesavedindependently. Oncethe
optionsaresaved,theycanbedistributedtodifferentworkstationsindependentlyorplaced
onanetwork.
Aswillbediscussedlaterinthiscourseitispossibletosetthedefaultoptions,when
creatinganewproject,tomatchoneofthesavedoptionsprofile.

containsanyconstructiondrawings,youwillbeabletoexpanditandselectthe
nameoftheconstructiondrawing.
Onceselected,apreviewofthedrawingwill appearinthewindowontheright.

accesstotheBentleySubstationdatabasetables.
WithintheProjectManager,anewtabwillbeavailableonthefarleftofthedialog.
Thistabnamed ProjectWise,allows theusertocreatetheprojectdirectlyinthe
desiredProjectWisefolder.Theprocessofcreatingaproject,andthenpageswithin
aproject,isidenticalregardlessiftheprojectisstoredinProjectWiseorinthe
Windowsfilesystem.

Conversely,onceaprojectisstoredinProjectWiseitcanbemovedbackto thefile

ArchiveProjects
Inthecontextmenuforanyprojectsistheoptionto ArchiveinProjectWise.This
commandwillcreateabackupoftheprojectandstoretheprojectbackupin
ProjectWise.

therevisioncontrolwillbeidenticaltowhatwasdescribedinapreviousmodule.
