GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSE TO
DEFENDANT'S MOTION FOR A STAY ORDER

The United States, through its undersigned attorneys, respectfully requests an evidentiary

hearing on defendant's motion for a stay pending appeal.

The Court's Order was received at the May 1, 1995, revocation hearing without

objection. Now the defendant has requested a stay pending appeal. The request makes the

blanket assertion that the execution of the Order will leave the corporate representative and her

children destitute. There is absolutely no evidence to support this assertion.

For the foregoing reasons, the government requests an evidentiary hearing on the

defendant's motion for a stay pending appeal.

1
Further, the government respectfully requests that the Court stay its Order of May 1,

1995, pending the requested evidentiary hearing and the Court's determination upon such

hearing.

Respectfully Submitted,
