follow

the
teacher

Direction:

pick

book
bin.
The
teacher
will
read
aloud
while
the
student
follows
along.
While
reading,
the
student
will
point
to
each
of
the
words
on
the
page
from
left
to
right.
Student
will
hold
the
book
and
turn
the
pages
on
his
own.
The
teacher
will
break
up
words
into
letter
sounds.

3

Objective:
The
student
will
recognize
and
trace
letters
with
dot
markers.
Directions:
The
student
will
be
introduced
the
sound
of
the
letter
A
on
the
worksheet.
The
student
will
trace
the
letter
and
repeat
the
sound.
Student
will
be
show
the
zoo
phonics
animal,
Ally
Alligator,
for
that
letter
and
told
a
story
about
the
letter.
The
student
will
stamp
the
letter
with
dot
marker.
Once
done
with
that
student
may
color
the
zoo
phonics
animal.

4

by
producing
the
primary
sound
or
many
of
the
most
frequent
sounds

Student
may
play
with
the
objects
and
talk
about
how
they
look.
The
teacher
will
sound
spell
the
objects
name
with
the
student.

technology
to
recognize
words
and
letter
sounds.
Directions:
Student
will
be
given
time
on
the
iPad.
The
student
can
play
any
of
the
games
on
the
iPad
(only
grade
level
appropriate
games
are
loaded
on
it).
Most
of
the
games
involve
letter
sounds
and
sight
words.
There
are
also
games
that
involve
naming/
recognizing
shapes
and
colors.
