2016 THEME: Learn a Foreign Language; Gain a New Perspective

RULES:
1. Each entry must be an original work of a current foreign language student. No group
entries will be accepted.
2. LIMIT: 2 entries per student.
3. Students are required to put their NAME, TEACHER & LANGUAGUE on the back of
the poster.
4. All posters must incorporate the exact wording of the theme.
5. Posters must measure the standard poster size of 22 x 28 or poster provided by teacher
6. Use lightweight poster material.
7. Paints, markers, pencils, crayons, inks, gel pens may be used. No glue or tape on the front
of the poster will be accepted nor will computer generated images.
8. Illustrations must be used in addition to words and must be relevant to the theme.
9. There must be a TWO inch margin on all sides free of design and lettering.
10. Damaged or dirty posters will be disqualified.
Please note: Any posters that do not meet all of the criteria will be disqualified.
PRIZES:
*One poster will be selected as Poster of the Year; artist will receive a gift card for $20; poster
will be displayed on the LCHS web site
*Second place winner; artist will receive a gift card for $10; poster will be displayed on the
LCHS web site
*Third place winner; artist will receive a gift card for $5; poster will be displayed on the LCHS
web site
*Four (2-French 2-Spanish) honorable mention posters will be displayed on the LCHS web site
EXTRA CREDIT will be given to all students who submit a poster that meets all requirements.
