This book was hard to read at first be- cause Thad trouble dis- tinguishing the charac- ters. The book has alot ofpros and cons. Not everybody can directly relate to the book so at times the reader is forced to judge a situa tion they know nothing about, Ifthe reader cannot relate, itis good that they get to experi- ence the struggle, an- other world, through the bonds they grow environment? The Rhodes Scholarship ‘The Rhodes’ Scholarship was founded by John Rhodes. Itis apost graduate award for the selected foreign students. There are applicants from more than 300 American colleges. Itis a British charity that provides full A- nancial support for scholars to pursue a degree at Oxford University in the UK (Oxford and the Rhodes Schol- arships 1). This scholarship is a major accom- plishment. One notable Rhodes (AME Scholar is Katherine Elida Warren who graduated from Harvard Uni- versity (Oxford and the Rhodes Scholarships 1).
