READING LEARNING CHINESE
This week we began our last unit for Meng visited our classroom and this school year called “Lend a Helping reviewed counting numbers in Chinese Hand”. In this unit we will read with the students. She used her stories that help us realize that magic stick to teach the names of people can make a difference in their animals in Chinese and other communities. Our first story was The languages. Little Painter of Sabana Grande. We worked with words having 3-letter blends such as “scratch”, “stranger” MILL STREET VISIT and “spread”. We completed Unit 9 and have begun 4/27, 4/29, 5/3 & 5/5 Unit 10 learning about decimals and MAP TESTING place value. 5/19 CELEBRATION OF CULTURES 1 PM High School SPECIAL GUESTS 5/21 Visit Cleveland Elementary This week our special guests were four School Load bus at 8:45 AM foreign-exchange students from the 5/26 LAST DAY OF SCHOOL high school. They were from the Early Out 12:05 countries of Denmark, Iceland, China, and Taiwan. The students enjoyed Have a great weekend! learning about the way of life in different countries.
