J. Eugene Tendollen Jerry
Jerry Charles ZilliGene Tendollen, 91 yrs., passed
away peacefully on Friday, Feb.
5th, in Portland, OR.
Gene graduated from Kohler
High School, the University of
Oregon, and served as a Lieutenant in the Army during World
War II.
Genes wife Betty passed away
in 1995.
Gene is survived by his children
- Vivian Linda (Renny), David
(Linda), Dan (Cindy), grandchildren and great grandchildren. He
is also survived by cousins Roy
and Alan, and by his sister, Doris
Wyckoff, who resides in Sheboygan.
Gene - we will all miss your big
grin and those really corny jokes!

Presidential Preference & Spring Election
The Presidential Preference & Spring Election will be
held Tuesday, April 5. The polling place is located in the
Kirkpatrick Center at the Kohler Village Hall, 319 Highland
Drive, and will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voters
are required to show a photo ID to vote. You must have
lived in the Village of Kohler for 28 days to vote in the
Village of Kohler.
Will you need an Absentee Ballot for the Spring Election?
The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot to be mailed
to you is Thursday, March 31. Absentee voting in the Clerk/
Treasurers Office is available from Monday, March 21
Thursday, March 31, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday,
April 1, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Absentee voters are also
required to show a photo ID to vote.
Do you have the right photo ID?
These are acceptable for voting purposes and can be
unexpired or expired after the date of the most recent
general election:
Wisconsin DOT-issued driver license
Wisconsin DOT-issued identification card
Military ID card
U.S. passport
These photo IDS are also acceptable for voting purposes
but must be unexpired:
Certificate of naturalization issued within the last two
years
Unexpired Wisconsin driver license or identification
card receipt
Photo ID issued by a Wisconsin accredited university
or college containing date of issuance, student
signature and expiration date no later than two years
after date of issuance, along with a separate document
proving enrollment.
If you are eligible to vote but dont have a photo ID, you may
obtain a free ID from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The Partisan Primary is August 9 and the General Election is
November 8. For more information about voter registration,
absentee voting, acceptable forms of proof of identification
or upcoming elections, contact the Clerk-Treasurers office
at 920-459-3873.
Dog and Cat Licenses
All dogs and cats over 5 months of age require licensing.
Rabies vaccination certificate is required at time of
licensing. Dogs and cats must be licensed by April 1 of
each year. Fees are:

Who:
What: The development of all early childhood children living in the Kohler School District will be screened
through parent report, direct assessment, and observation. Parents will also be able to register for
the 2016/2017 4K Program (must be at least 4 years
old on 9/1/16 to register).
Why:
Screening helps identify if a child is developing appropriately cognitively, physically and emotionally.
During screening, children will work with a professional in a play-based format to assess their development. School professionals will also be available
to answer questions parents may have about their
childs development and/or the 4K program. In addition, information about a variety of community resources will be available.
When: April 12, 2016. If you are unable to attend and have

music concerts
The Kohler high school band and choir will present their Mid-Winter
Music Concert on Tuesday, March 15. This concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
in the Kohler Memorial Theater.
On Thursday, March 17, the Kohler middle school band and choir
will present their Mid-Winter Music Concert. The concert, featuring the
middle school bands and choirs, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Kohler
Memorial Theater.
The choirs are directed by Lori Hucke and the bands are under the
direction of Richard Tengowski. Both concerts are free and open to the
public.
Kohler Performing
Arts to host dinner
and auction
Plans are underway for the 19th annual Kohler Performing Arts Organization dinner and auction on Saturday, April 23 at the Pine Hills
Country Club. This years theme is Lets Get Reel and will include
performances by the Kohler high school music students, silent auction,
three-course dinner and a live auction.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Parents of music students
can pick up their invitations at one of the upcoming concerts. Invitations can also be picked up at the library, school office or from the
music department. Invitations and reservations can also be found on the
Kohler Performing Arts website at www.KohlerPerformingArts.org.
