For the time,
You have devoted to me,
You deserve sincerity,

My answer is not dubious,

No matter,
How strange it may sound,
It is a truthful answer,

For poets,
Do not lie,
Concerning,
Matters of the heart,

I do not love you,

For the word “love,”
Falls short,
Expressing what I feel,

Human language,
Has failed,
To convey,
The most profound feelings,

That dwell,

For “love” means nothing,
Without passion,
From the soul,

Love is not love,

Unless,
It is heartfelt,
From spirit to spirit,
