WHY CARE?
Executive Order 12898 (February 11, 1994 = 22 years
+ 1 month) requires Federal agencies to:
Consider disproportionately high and adverse environmental
effects on minority and low-income populations. Results:
Multiple guidance documents (draft/final) to improve
Federal agencies actions on the effects of YET,
Federal practitioners and contractors struggle
with identifying and assessing Climate
Change / EJ impacts under NEPA.
