ThefilmstartedinthecountryofVenice,Italy.Thesceneismoderndayandvery
realistic.AstoshowsomeexamplesofhowIrelatedtothismovie,Ihavelistedsome
incidentsthathaveoccurredduringmylife.

Idespisethieves,especiallywhensomethingcomesupmissingandyoucannot
figureoutwhostolewhatismissingorifyouknowwhostolesomethingbutcannot
provethattheystolefromyou.Thereareseveralexamplesofthingsthathavebeen
stolenfrommebutIhaveonlybeenabletoprovethatsomethingwasstolenfromme
ounce.

AsachildmywalletusedtocomeupmissingallofthetimeandIneverknew
whostolemywalletfromme.Icametotheassumptionthatmyownbrotherwastheone
whokeptstealingmywalletfromme,butonceagainIcouldneverprovethathestolemy
walletfromme.

YoumightknowwhatIamtalkingabout.Whenyougetthatmadfeeling
knowingthatsomethingisnotwhereitissupposedtobebecausesomeonetookitfrom
you.Ithasalwaysmademeveryangrywhensomeonetakessomethingandtheyarenot
therightfulowner.ItreallyticsmeoffbecauseIhaveneverstolenasinglethingfrom
anyone.

AnotherexampleisofanincidentwhenIactuallycaughtthepersonstealingfrom
me.ThisistheonlytimethatIhaveactuallycaughtthepersonstealingfromme.AfterI
separatedfromtheservice,Imovedintoahousebackhomeandhadaroommate.I
continuallyhelpedmyroommateatthetimewheneverheneededthehelp.
Inoticedonedaythatsomemoneywasmissingfrommysparechangejar.I
knewinstantlythatthechangehadtobetakenbymyroommate.Hewastheonlyperson
thatcouldgetinandoutofmyhouseatthetime.Hewasalsotheonlypersonwiththe
codeformysecurityalarmbesidesme.ThesecurityalarmishowIprovedthathestole
fromme.Hedeniedthathedidit,butwehavebeenfriendsforalongtimeandtheguilt
gottohimovertime.Goodfriendsknowwhensomethingisnotrightbetweeneach
other.BecauseIdidnotcatchhimintheactofdoingit,itstillremainsanunprovenfact.

AnotherincidentwasafterImovedfrommyhouse.Mygirlfriendandmewere
separatingatthetimeandthesituationwasgettingreallystressful.Idecidedtostayat
mybestfriendshouseonenightwithhim,hisexwifeandkids.Wewentbacktothe
housetomovesomeofhisbelongingsfromthehouse.Mybestfriendwenttothegarage
forafewminutes.

Whenhecamebackintothehouse,heaskedwhereismymotorcycle.Ilookedat
himandlaughedlikehewasjoking.But,hegavemethatlookofseriousnessandsaidhe
notjoking.Sometimeduringthenight,atleasttwopeopleormorestolemymotorcycle
frommygarage.

Thiswasan$11,000dollarmotorcycle.ManwasIreallyangrywhenIcameto
therealizationthatitreallywasstolen.IfiledapolicereportwiththeIndianapolis,
IndianaMarionCountySheriffsDepartmentafterthediscovery.TothisdayIstilldonot
haveasolidanswerofwhostolemymotorcycle.

Oneotherscenarioiswhenyouthinkthatyoumissedplacedsomething,but
truthfullyitwasstolenfromyouandyoujustdonotknowwhenitwasstolen.Aprime
exampleofthisIknowofisaplasticcupIgotfromaliveconcert.Wegotgreatseats
whileataMetallicaconcertoneyear.Mybestfriendjusthappenedtocatchacupfrom
theleadsingerJamesHetfield.Eventually,aftermovingtoFloridaIsettleddownata
newplaceandstartedorganizingmyplace.

Ikeptallofmyliveconcertticketsinthecupthatmyfriendgavemefromthe
Metallicaconcert.Next,ImadeafewfriendsaroundOcklawaha,FL.Iallowedafew
visitorstomyhouse.AtfirstIthoughtthatImighthavemissedplacedthecup.Ilooked
aroundthehouseseveraltimesjusttomakesurethatwasnotthecase.Ievencalledmy
dadtomakesurehedidnotthrowthecupawaybymistake.Ofcoursehesaidhedidnot
throwawaythecup.

Finally,thisleadsmetotheassumptionthattheonlyvisitorwhocameovertomy
housewhoknewaboutthecupcouldbetheculpritofthecrime.Iamremainingatthis

assumptionbecausetothisdaythecupstillhasnotbeenfound.Heisalsothesame
individualthatconfessedtotakingIBUPROPHENfromme.

Thesearesomeofthescenariosofsomeoneinvadingmypersonalprivacywhile
trustingthem.Ialsobelievethatbecauseoftheseinstances,Ihavebecomemore
cautiousofwhoItrust.ThisbecomesanissuebecauseIhaveworkedveryhardforthe
thingsIown.Mydadtaughtmefromayoungagethatwhenyouworkforwhatyou
haveyourespectthosethingsmorethanifyoudidnotworkforthem.

Onelastexampleofsomethingthatwasstolefrommeisastamp.Ialready
exasperatedallpossiblelocationsofwherethestampcouldbe.Whichinturnleadsme
tothefactthatonlysomeonewhohasenteredmyhousecouldhavestolethestampfrom
me.Iwillprobablyneverseethatstampagainunlesssomeonereturnsthestampor
confessestothecrime.Itrynotlettingtheseincidentsgettomebutitcanbedifficult
trustingpeoplesometimesbecauseoftheseincidents.

ThisishowIcanrelatetosomeofthecharactersthroughoutthemovie.Icould
beconsideredLylethehacker.ThisisbecauseIlovecomputersandspendmostofmy
timeatthecomputerjustashedidthroughouttheentiremovie.IcanalsorelatetoJohn
thefatherofthebeautifulStella.Ihaveadaughterjustashedidinthemovie.Hemissed

valuabletimewithhisdaughterbecauseheremainedlockedupbecauseofcrimes
committedthroughouthislife.

Currently,IammissingvaluabletimewithmydaughterbecauseImovedtoa
differentstatethanwheremydaughterislocated.Yesthesearedifferentreasons,but
theyarethesamescenario.IcouldbeconsideredJohnandmydaughtercouldbe
consideredStella.

Ihavefoundwaysofrelatingtothemoviethathaveaffectedmethroughoutmy
life.Rightatthebeginningofthemoviethegoldbarswerestolenfromthehousein
Venice,Italy.Thepeopleofthehousehadtobereallyangrywhentheyfoundoutthat
thegoldthattheyhadlockedupinasafewastakenfromthem.Thatiswhatmakes
Charlietheperfectthief.Becauseheplannedtheheistofthegoldandnevergotcaught.
Thatreallyresemblessomeonestealingfromyouandneverbeingcaughtcommittingthe
crime.

Duringthemovie,eachcharacterplaysaspecificroleinthemovie.Charlieand
hisbandofthievesarethereforspecificfunctions.Charlieisthemasterplanner,Left
Earistheexplosivesexpert,Robisthecarexpert,Wrenchisthemechanic,Lyleisthe
computergenius,JohnisthefatherofStellawhogetsdoublecrossedbySteveatthestart

ofthemovie,StellaisthesafecrackerwhoworksfortheLosAngelespolicedepartment.
StellajoinsthegroupafterCharlievisitsherathershop.

Shewantstoavengeherfathersdeath.ThegroupisconsidereddeadbySteve,
becausehethoughtthathehadkilledthemallatthestartofthemovie.Afteracquiring
Stella,thegroupdecidestoavengeherfathersdeathandstealthegoldbarsfromSteve
whohassettleddowninLosAngeles.Themovieshowsenginenuityandexplosiveness.
ThemembersworkasateamtogettheheistdoneaswellasavengeStellas
fathersdeath.Carefulplanningofcameraanglesallowedtheviewertobepartofthe
actiontoacertainextent.Thiswasdonewithoutoverdoingtheactionfortheviewer.
Thisdidnotputtheviewerdirectlyinanyonesdriverseat.

Thecarchasesofcourseallowedthegoodguys,sotospeak,togetawayevery
time.Isupposethisisnecessaryforthemovietobeamovie.Itwaslimitedtotwodeath
scenes.StellasfatherandtheUkrainianmanthatStevewassellingthegoldbarsto,
whichheshot.

AfterawellplannedheistofStevesgold,thechasebegan.Afterthechase
startedLylethecomputergeniusbegancontrollingthestreetlightssothatCharlieandthe
groupcouldgetawaywiththegoldbarseasily.Ofcourseeverythingdidnotgoas
plannedtheyranintosomealtercationsduringtheheist.Astonotgiveawaytheending
Imuststophere.Iwatchedthemovietwicewithbreaksinbetween.Ittooksometime

tofigureoutwhatIcouldrelatetothismovie.IcametothisrelationwhenInoticeda
minimalshortageofIBUPROPHENfrommybathroomcabinet.
