let's focus on racial inequality that the picture depicts. Racism is never a thing of the past. Structural racism is far from a relic of the past. Yet we don't have any idea how much the current distribution of privilege is shaped by policies of the past and present. Racial inequality still exists, in 2010 the median wealth difference of black compared to white families, Black students attending underfunded schools, as of January 2016 the difference of unemployment rate, even infant mortality, and as of 2015 41 percent of all unarmed people killed by police were black. We aren't pointing a finger to white people that they should be guilty about black people being discriminated it's just that the policies have efficiently advantaged whites over nonwhites for generations.
