I have known about this song for a long time, and I have recently revisited this song by accident.

This song emphasizes the importance of love and the people around you. It talks about cherishing the special
moments that we get to the share with the people we love by stating, That love is ours to make so we should
make it / Everything else can wait / The time is ours to take so we should take it.

Jhene Aiko shows the importance of enjoying the special moments in our life. We do not always get the
special opportunity of coming across special moments with our loved ones. Therefore, we should enjoy the
moment and take in everything it has to offer while we can. The line, Cause we gotta be responsible
sometimes, shows that we will all become adults and have responsibilities. Therefore, while we are young
and enjoying life, we have to take in the beauty of what our world has to offer us with the people we love.
