To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Kristy Cracchiolo and I have the pleasure of being Ms. Reema Daouds cooperating teacher this year. Reema has
almost successfully completed her student teaching with me at Troy Athens High School. During her time with me Reema began
observing my classes in the fall of 2015. During this time she would not only observe my teaching, but would also partake in
helping me around the classroom by entering grades and checking the students quizzes and homework. She would also teach
occasional lessons if asked. At the beginning of second semester, Reema began teaching on day one. Reemas teaching
responsibility consists of five total classes; three sections of 12 Literature and Composition and two sections of 12 General
Literature and Composition. Throughout both semesters of her observing and teaching, Reemas hard work, dedication and
personality allowed her to excel and gain the trust of the students. Our school is noted for a diverse student population which offers
a challenge to even our most experienced teachers, but Reema was able to meet those challenges.
Reemas warm personality and rapport with the students are excellent. Her knowledge of the subject and dedication to the
profession was even noticed by other faculty members in our department. Her willingness to take suggestions, modify lessons, and
experiment with new strategies demonstrates her motivation and reflection about teaching and learning. She is able to
communicate effectively and she has displayed many fine personal and professional qualities normally attributed to outstanding
seasoned teachers. She carries out her responsibilities in a professional and dependable manner and consistently goes over and
beyond what is expected of her for a student teacher. As I mentioned earlier, Reema has taken on the responsibility of five classes
during second semester. She assumed the duties of planning, teaching and grading the required information. Because of her
creativity and enthusiasm for the subject, students responded positively to her lessons. Her ability to manage a daily routine and
lesson, along with her classroom management are exemplary.
I have immensely enjoyed sharing my classroom with Reema and have actually learned many new teaching techniques I will
implement with my future students. She exhibits professionalism with colleagues and unending patience with students. She
knows her students well and keeps in close contact with parents and teacher consultants. Her encouragement and enthusiasm are
evident in and out of the classroom. She has taken a special interest in her at-risk and ESL students. This individual attention has
proven advantageous for their learning.
In my opinion, as a classroom teacher of 15 years who has mentored other student teachers, Reema is by far the most prepared.
She has so many prodigious qualities, from her honesty to her personality to her ability to connect with students. I believe the
qualities she possesses are the qualities that make her a joy to be around for students and staff alike. Along with her command of
the subject area and her effective teaching strategies with adolescents, she is a model of an excellent teacher. I would strongly
recommend Reema for any teaching position. She would be an asset to any school.
Please accept my highest recommendation and feel free to contact me with any questions at (248) 823-2900 or

Sincerely,

Kristy Cracchiolo
