Metropolitan Tower project is located at Jalan RA Kartini No. 27, Cilandak, South Jakarta. It
was built on an area of 14.857,06 m2, has 22 floors and 3 basements, with Rp.
130.000.000.000,- of contract value. This building functioned as offices. Metropolitan Tower
structural project has been started since September 2012 and schedule for completion in April
2014. Stair is liaison between one floor to other floor, one of them is basement 2 stairs type 3
with quality of concrete 33,2 MPa and quality of steel 400 MPa. The stair structure is used
reinforced concrete structure, therefore the steel that to be used and spaces between them needs
to be calculated. Based on calculation of basement 2 stairs type 3 Metropolitan Tower, the
stair structure needs reinforcement steel with diameter 10 and spaces beetwen them is 150 mm
for X direction, and reinforcement steel with diameter 10 mm and spaces beetwen them is 100
mm for Y direction. From the calculation of the area of steel that needed, it is qualified and
accordance with national standards of Indonesia.
