In this graduate seminar devoted to teaching and mentoring first time
instructors in the department of Sociology, I worked alongside Dr. Brian
Powell to supervise and advise new instructors in course design, syllabus
construction, classroom activity development, evaluation methods, grading
procedures, and disciplinary issues. I also observed new instructors and
provided each of them personalized feedback, especially those related to
classroom management and pedagogical techniques.
