INTRODUCTION
Background of the Study
The Android Based Student Council Voting System (ABSCVS) is a system that is using
android application on Smartphone to vote. The (ABSCVS) means that voting process in election
by using android phone. We also described the android mobile phones are efficient and can be
use for voting. It will enable legitimate voters to cast their vote from wherever the place using
their android devices unlike other that you need to wait long in the poll site for your turn to
enable for you to vote which waste a lot of time.
In school, there is always an organization called supreme student government (SSG), a
student body organized only through proper election. As we observed SSG election has been
using the traditional way of voting which takes a lot of time to accomplish and needs more
materials and manpower.
The Supreme Student Government (SSG) organization organizes a new set of officers.
The process of Supreme Student Government election system is divided into different areas such
as registration of voters, registration of candidates, voting/election system, and computation of
election results. All the transactions of the Supreme Student Government election are recorded in
order to track and review all the information during the election process.
Even though the system enables to poll their voters from anywhere, initially voters should
have to provide their I.D. number and password to authenticate themselves and (establish their

user I.Ds) cast their votes. This constraint is imposed to ensure that only the legitimate person is
allowed to vote in the election.
An Android Based Student Council Voting System is an application developed for
android devices to deploy and easy and flexible way of casting votes anytime and from
anywhere.
Our proponents decided to develop a system that will solve some problems that encounter
by the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of Jose Rizal Memorial State University
Katipunan Campus, in terms of their manual voting. This proposed system aimed to develop a
more reliable and efficient way of voting election using high technology device.
