My older brother, Ben, has severe mental disabilities. Because of my experiences over the last twenty-three years
with Ben and his friends, I have been able to encourage and educate others on life as a sibling to someone with
disabilities, and have been blessed with a love for people with disabilities. I have spoken at several events for
parents, caregivers, children, and siblings of those with disabilities, and have been asked to write and speak for a
couple organizations.
