Cambodia, where GDP is the 159th place in the world which is $1,018, according to

world bank website. This is lowest GDP because Cambodia faced with poverty problem.
In January of 2015, We came to cambodia to observe this problem, we came to interview
Mr.Johns family who live in the village of Kampot, Cambodia.The reason why we choose
to pick this family because they have a lot of members in their family, 9 members in family.
John was the head of the family because he was a father who worked every day even
though it was a weekend. According to, Prake Organization said in the normal of
Cambodian working hours is 6 days per week. He said that To be honest, sometime I felt
very tired but I have to think about my family to have a better life so I willl do as much as I
can. Education in Cambodia, Rural Poverty Organization shows school enrollmemt
primary is 124.5. As the above statistic relate with Jack, one of the twin of Johns family
have to leaved from his school even his grade was very good and he always be a good
boy but because his family didnt have enough money to pay for his education. He have to
come back and help his family to work, he work 4 days per week and his income was $9.6
and his family can save the money for $8 for not sent Jack to school. Jack said Actually, I
felt unfortunate for leaving school but I need to leave for family will have better life and
have more earning. In March, the government gave a free clinic to Kam Pot so the
senitary was $2 from $3 and they got free medical care. It related to Winston S. Churchill
said that Healthy citizens are the greatest asset any country can have One of the citizen
in Kam Pot,Jessica who is mother said that When we got a free clinic from the
government I felt like it was the gift from the god to help our familys life to be better. and
it also increase the saving to their family. Additionally, Health expenditure in Cambodia,
total(%of GDP) is 7.5 which is very low. Almost cambodian people didnt have much more
money for taking care their health. In April, They also get a free clinic and Jan got twice
her income because she can make her own business. This all thing feel like to be a good
luck but on the next day their family had to face the disaster that is a drought. It effected to
their income and the cost of food and water which is their income was decrease about
12% and the cost of food and water was increase about 12%. After that they got a
government relief that the person who working in Cambodia will get more 25% from their
income. In May, maybe in this month was a very worst month of this year because the
drought was continue here and Johns family have to lose his child Jack, the clever boy
that very sacrifice. Jack got a serious disease because he has to leave his school to help
his family. He was very stress because his dreaming is to entrance to the university but
last 3 months, he has to leave school so his dream became fell. When The family knew
that Jack got a seriouse disease, they began to work harder but on 12th May,2015 Jack
suicided himself and leave his note to his family that he doesnt want to make his family
get more difficult life so he decided to leave. Jessica said that Before the time that he

suicided I stayed with him until the time that I have to go to do work. He said to me that I
dont have to work harder and he doesnt want our family to get more trouble in living
anymore. But I refused to him because he was my child and I have to hlep him. Then
when Jessica arrived home, she saw he hanging his neck and out of breath. The family
lfelt really bad about Jack because he was a good boy and always take care his family
and they cant help him to be safe but their life have to be continue. After that in June, The
drought was gone and Johns family have more saving so John decided to sent his
children to go to school who was Jean and Jan because education is the important for
children. It related to a quote that Education is the movement from darkness to light
from Allan Bloom. Jean, Jacks twin said that I want to say thankyou to my brother about
his sacrifice because I cant have this day without him but I also miss his smile and his
laugh until now. John also paid for everyone to his family a medical care. Now everyone
in his family have a good health and they continue to do our work. Lastly, Jessica said that
I think the most important thing in our life is the health even we rich but we unable to do
work so we cant get more money and finally the money will get lose to the cure that we
have to spend on it.
