Describe Abou Shakra in terms of the value it provides for

customer.
Ans:Abou Shakra has managed to maintain its own identity by
having satisfied customer overthe years. It was only possible as it
followed some values since its commencement to uphold itstrue
identity as a restaurant. These values are as follow
Benefit -As a new restaurant when it started, it had to compete
with the whole market asthere was not many different cuisines
available like now. So the competitive marketnecessitate that
Abou Shakra had to offer something that would give him some
advantageover the other competitors. This advantage turned out
to be the greatest customer valueoffered by Abou Shakra, which
was not offered by the majority of his customers.
Tenacious Attention on Customer This restaurant have
maintained the persistentfocus on customer well-being and
satisfaction and that had originally been the key factorto their
success. This customer based marketing has been proved as the
right track fortheir successive triumphs they have reached so far.
Viewpoint Since its beginning, Abou Shakra has placed
importance on its elegantdishes, prepared them with passions
and provided a memorable experience to theirguests. Abou
Shakra has been following this philosophy ever since its
establishment.This philosophy has brought in some other values n
different ways. Such as

Answer- Since its establishment, Abu Shakra has prospered through the great value it offers to its customers. Abou Shakra, in terms of the value it provides for customers, can
be described as
* Focuses on elegant dishes, prepared with passion
* Puts persistent emphasis on customers wellbeing and complete satisfaction
* Offers traditional Egyptian dishes that are of highest quality
* Provides the customers a great dining experience by maintaining a simple menu that has been perfected for the best quality
* Uses own farm to grow and supply the healthiest and freshest produce and meat for all the outlets for consistency in quality
* Pays attention to the smallest details in cleanliness to provide the customers with the experience of a hygienic environment
* Delivers the best customer service through hiring energetic, friendly, and passionate employees and training them in self-owned facility to ensure employees will have the
skills necessary.

Do you think Abou Shakra should develop a high-growth strategy? Why or why not?
Answer- In my opinion, Abou Shakra should not develop a high-growth strategy. The reasons are as follows
* Success History- The current success of Abou Shakra, to a large extent, can be attributed to the slow-expansion strategy. A high-growth strategy might have negative effects
on management and also employee psyche.

* Produce Quality- Abou Shakra relies on daily supplies of high quality produce to make its food delicious and offer a value of freshness, hygiene, and quality. Rapid
development in other countries and locals will require it to find suppliers who can provide such quality inputs, and also to have an administrative facility to scrutinize the quality of
inputs. This will be an extremely difficult process to undergo, even if in a prolonged period.

Question 3 Should Abou Shakra spend more on advertising than is currently expended? AnswerIn my opinion, Abou Shakra should not spend more on advertising and direct its finances
towards Quality Control and improving customer service and experience. Abou Shakra already
has an established image and also a high market share, resulting from the satisfied customers
word-of-mouth. Any more expense in advertisement, considering Abou Shakras goodwill, will
be redundant. Also it may have other repercussions, such as * Higher expense in advertising
will possibly lead to lower expenses in QC, training and management. This may hinder Abou
Shakras ability to provide premium dining experience to its customers, and thus tarnish its
reputation and image. * Additional advertisement can lead to higher market demand than Abou
Shakra can provide for. This can make customers who cant get reservations or tables dissatisfied

and affect Abou Shakras reputation. However, if Abou Shakra decides to enter other countries
market, it should make finances available for large-scale advertisement, as its reputation for
excellence and quality is only dominant in the middle-ea

Answer 4- Despite the changing taste and trend, I think that the legacy of Abou
Shakra will continue. Even though customers now look for varied offerings and
experiences, the demand for traditional food will not be so lessened that it will have
any notable, let alone significant, effect on Abou Shakras market share. But for
effective sustainability and eventually growth, Abou Shakra must abide the
followings * Maintain/Improve quality of the food provided * Maintain/Improve
standard of produce and other inputs * Continue hiring qualified employees and
training them rigorously to ensure best customer service * Offer additional distinct
values to customers
Question 5 Suggest other methods by which Abou Shakra can provide value to its
customers. Answer- Here are some means to provide further value to customers *
Authentic Egyptian ambience and decor * Traditional Egyptian entertainment such
as folk music or dance performers * Share-platters for 2 or 4 persons for an
communal experience * Visible prep and cooking/grilling process that ensures
customers of quality in handling and also may have entertainment value
