Community Partner Hosting FAQ

Thank you for considering to be a community partner

host! Here are frequently asked questions (with answers).
You should quickly see that very little is involved to be a
host in HEALTHLINE RINGs vital work!

What does being a community partner host involve?

Simply, hosting a HEALTHLINE RING workshops means opening up your agency
or venue to the HEALTHLINE RING staff and attendees to conduct a workshop.
Our staff fully facilitates the workshop (unless co-facilitation is prearranged).

What are host expectations?

The expectation is that the host will open and close (if during closed hours) the
venue for the workshop. HEALTHLINE RING will clean up any materials it uses in
the workshop and leave the venue in the same condition it entered it.

What is the most desirable day and time?

Most workshops are being scheduled on Saturdays from 10am-2pm, but
weeknights work as well. HEALTHLINE RING will work with community partners
to facilitate a workshop with the greatest efficiency and accessibility for attendees.

What communities are sought?

In pursuit of cultural competency and empowerment, we seek to hold workshops
in any physical community within Knox County and for any identity communities
(i.e. color, ability, LGBTQ, homeless, etc.)

Does the host receive fees?

HEALTHLINE RING, as a project between nonprofit agencies, seeks
complimentary workshop space. If your agency requires fees, that can be
discussed with HEALTHLINE RING staff.

Where is hosting acknowledged?

HEALTHLINE RING is gracious to all community partner hosts, who will be
acknowledged in the final report to the Tennessee Department of Mental Health
and in all social media workshop promotions. Any community partner host can
also include its materials in the literature and swag that workshop attendees
receive.

What is the workshop duration and structure?

Each workshop is scheduled for a three/four hour block. The duration will vary
depending on attendee participation and engagement. Please see the next page
for a breakdown of the workshop content.
