Etc
We will work on a rubric based on your Expectations AND the Learning Objectives

Research options for creating the newspaper, including e-versions. If nothing else,
we will use the Publishing feature in MS Word

Next Meeting Tuesday, 12/8
A) Develop a Rubric

B) As you are developing your plans and guidelines, here are some questions to
consider. We can discuss these more on Tuesday.

1. How will you help students build background knowledge?
2. How will you facilitate, question, or lead students through tasks that increase
their understanding
3. Will the students be able to interact with each other? Would this be
beneficial? If so, how would this look?
4. Are there any graphic organizers we could provide that would assist in the
student process of developing their newspaper?
5. Will you provide feedback as they are progressing? How? How will you
monitor? (ex. Checkpoints, formative assessments, etc?)
6. How will students be sharing their understanding? Will they just turn in
their newspaper or will they share what theyve done/learned with others?
