GRIZZLIES

The feed enters from the top of the incline and the solids that are small
enough would pass through and oversized particles would slide down the incline.

2. STATIONARY SCREENS

Solids of acceptable size would pass through the punched holes and
oversized solids would slide down the incline.

3. VIBRATING SCREENS

Improves the passing of solid particles through the holes by using

vibration.

4. OSCILLATING SCREENS

Same concept as vibrating screens but is characterized by low-speed

oscillations.

5. RECIPROCATING SCREENS

Characterized by the gyratory motion at the feed and by the reciprocating

motion at the feed end.

6. TROMMELS OR REVOLVING SCREENS

Consists of a revolving horizontal cylinder with holes in the cylinder

walls separating the large solids.

7. GYRATORY SCREENS

An upright cylinder with screens on top of one another separating the

particles basing from their size difference.
