Summary
As benefits of irrigation systems was being realized by farmers, they
were applying for well to be drilled on their fields. The purpose of
conducting study to understand the diverse option to be explored as
labeled in the study. An analysis has been done on drilling success
and its profitability, , risk assessments and mitigation plan by
providing subsidy during unsuccessful well drilling.

Mr Nijalingappa (Managing Director)
About Company DDS was founded with an objective
of aiding
the small and marginal farmers to improve
their productivity through minor irrigation by well drilling
on their lands. Mr Nijalingappa believe that if we
irrigation is place; farmers can increase their production,
earn more repay loan with interest and enjoy comfortable
living.
B. Name of Stake Holder - :> Karnataka Government
C. Government of Karnataka also extending aid by
providing subsidy to the farmer whose wells has failed,
waiving full interest amount and 20 % of principle
amount. Funding may increase from 20- 50% in the
event of 10% wells failed.

zone and percentages are 40%.
With the help of systematic site survey procedure, success
rate improve significantly as high as 80%.
