CRITERIA: A project team must have made significant and unique achievements in managing and directing an integrated
oil or gas project from discovery to delivery, in accordance to six (6) key elements:
1. PROJECT ELEMENTS (15%) recognises the full value chain from exploration to production or brownfield complexity

Diversity of elements will be looked at for green field projects

Degree of complexity will be assessed for brownfield projects

2. PROJECT IMPACT (20%) local or regional or international

Significance of the impact to the industry, rather than the scale of the project
Local, regional or international impact on value added basis rather than scale basis

3. USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES (20%)

Degree of the application of new technologies

Fit for purpose new technology application has the advantage rather than over-engineered or extravagant application

4. SUBSURFACE AND SURFACE INTEGRATION ASPECTS (20%)

Smart integration methods

Not to be confused with Criteria No. 1: Project Elements

5. HSE (10%)

Lag indicator performance Management system efforts

Main safety challenges
Quality assurance efforts

6. PROJECT EXECUTION (15%) budget, timing challenges, etc.

Please note that only Completed Projects above US$500 million will be considered for the award. Projects must be
completed (first or incremental gar or oil production) in the past five (5) years and six (6) months from the scheduled
conference date.
Please attach a ONE (1) PAGE abstract or description of why this project should be considered for the 10th IPTC
Excellence in Project Integration Award, with the following information included in the abstract:

Operatorship Are you the operator of the nominated project?

Reservoir Characteristics Conventional / Unconventional Oil / Gas, Sand / Limestone / Other
Target Production Rate gas projects: mmscfd / LNG: mm annual ton / oil projects: mbopd
Project Cost at Final Investment Decision (FID)
FID year and months to start-up
Peak Manpower for Execution (optional for inclusion of contractors)
Project Loss Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) LTIFR should be in accordance to OGP standard, and to provide any
details available on how data was collected

The abstract text must be printed in Arial size 12 font. Hand-written submissions will not be accepted. Please do
not exceed one (1) page.
Companies of shortlisted projects by the IPTC Award Committee will be notified to submit a ten (10) page full nomination
by 8 June 2016.
