Introduction:

I am going to write about my reflections that I observed in Ahmed Bin Majid School with My MST
MS.Fatema. Its as stations is considered from began 1 of February 2016 to last day in 24 of February 2016. I
really was happy and enjoyable when I deal with students and the others teacher. In each station I learned
somethings new that assisted me to improve in my skills and personality and what was the weakness I have.
From these experiment I will become a good teacher in future.

Reflection 1: My feeling during teaching practice.

I felt the teaching is more important in our life without teaching and educate nothing will become more
modern, and everything will be still the same. But not all teacher the same, some of them make a perfect lesson,
and the other teacher wants to finish her lesson quickly. It made me think about how the teacher can organize
and made her lesson perfect? So, when I observed with my MST, I saw her organized her lesson by doing lesson
planning. Lesson-Planning has certain definite functions to perform which are indispensable in good teaching.
In My opinion, the lesson planning is very important in teaching that helps the teacher to organize her idea and
time to reach the goals from the lesson. I believe if the teacher does not do it a lesson plan for her lesson will be
lost. I also learned how to deal students with different level and special need. Encourage students to release
their hobbies, skills and ideas that help them to development in many situation because the school is place that
can childrens grown as Vygotsky said the environment in which children grow up will influence how they think
and what they think about. My students are in grade one so they as my brother. That mean if they did
something wrong I try to give them advice and help them. Also, at free time I sat and talked with them to build
between us a friendly relationship. Also, to broke the well between as because the students will not feel relax
and it hard to communicate with them because maybe they feel shy. In another side, the staff in this school
respects me, and if I need something they help me. So, I feel comfortable when I deal with them. For example,
when my MST sick, they said to me if you need something we will gave you and we will help you. So, it made a
good relation with us as friends. At morning assemble I take students outside the class to prepare them for is.
Also, I attend with other classes if the teacher not there with students. In another side, I always came to school
on time. If the teacher does not come early that mean she does not care. Then I attend the class before the start
to prepare the materials and if the MST wanted something that told me to do it. Also, she can depend on me to
correct students books and notebook. I wrote for them homework in the notebook. I help other teachers in
teacher room such as cut papers and paste it in the notebook. We all know that students in grade one are not
understand well but in teaching practice, I use a simple language to understand and help them to know what
about talking. Also, I used a body language to appear for them if not understand and show for them a word in
board and card. Also, I play with them a song that helps them more and the students felt more active, so they
dance. I found the song very intersecting because it mixes between the teaching and pleasure. As Vygotsky said
the learning precedes development. I believe that when child learning they will have already development and
understand well about everything around him. If the child are not learning and ignore study how then they
know. So, lets encourage students to learn that help them to build their future.

Reflection 2: What was I done well in teaching practice?

In my teaching practices, I built a relationship with my students that help me to communicate with
them. Also, it is a good way to management the classroom. How I a mean that. If the students love the teacher
they will respect the teacher, listen what she wants and they don't do misbehavior. As a result Built the
relationship with students is helping to the management classroom. Except the students who didnt listen to me
and do misbehavior in the classroom, I do a punishment for them. For example not gave them stickers, lose their
grade, did extra works and called his mother. My MST has great ideas that she make a paper wrote a noticed
about students, and she put in their notebook. Besides, when my MST explains the lesson or review with the
students, she takes apart, and I complete the next part that helps me also to development my skills. Next
semester, I will explain more than 10 minutes, so it good idea to helps me. The others thing that Im learned
with my MST is to did more activity and play because I didnt have more ideas about it because it assist to
interactive with students and make the perfect lesson. Also, as Psychologist Lev Vygotsky 's theory play is an
essential part of both language development and a child's understanding of the external world. When I discuss
with my MST about my teaching, she told me that I speak quickly. The students didnt understand what I told
them when I explain or something else. So, I am trying to change it by practice more. As I said before she takes a
part then I completely so it assist me to control it. I forget this point they were in grade one, so it is important to
give them a good learning. How did you know if the students are involved and attentive? I called their names in
the classroom. For example, Ahmed was plays with his staff or talked with his friend and not pays attention with
me, so I called his name and told his to focus. Also, I asked his a question about the lesson if his didnt know the
answer that means he didnt focus. Also, I did for them an activity that interactive them and involved in the
classroom. To encourage students to become interact in the class that is the Key to Quality Classrooms. Said for
them a positive phrased such as good boys, well done and youre a king. Also, I smile but not more it makes
them feel safe and comfortable and if I smile all the time they will not be the focus and play. Told them if you did
a good and be attention with me you will get stickers. Also, gave them award such as candy. I Move around the
room. Also, encourage students to share their ideas and answer if it is incorrect. As Eriksons Psychosocial
Stages in school Age (6 to 11) Success leads to a sense of competence, while failure results in a feeling of
inferiority so, dont let them feel that there were failed. Every point will help to become good and more
confidence in their self.

Reflection 3: Use a different activities and learning styles.

The students enjoyed with the activities that make them more movement and thinking. At the being of
class, the teacher plays for them a song to prepare them to class. In addition, to know and think what the lesson
will be that making their mind works. As Piaget said at this stage, they are being to think logically. Also, some
song gave the students a power and active to completely the lesson. The group works activities were making
them interactive with other and share their ideas. Also, the cards picture that put on the board and matches the
picture to the word. But, once a time I saw some students are selfish that hides the materials from his friends.
So, after I saw this, I and my MST gave them the advice to do not this again. So, I found that these activities
were goods and helps students to become more active and friendly when they share and interact with other.
Also, I did what my MST does it. A learning style is a student's consistent way of responding to and using
stimuli in the context of learning. My MST did a different learning style. She did a visual that including the card
picture, auditory the song that she played for them, physical when the students dance with the song and the last
one is Social when they interactive with others. So, it is really important to improve their skill and their minds. I
did these activities with my students that I learned from my MST. Grade one are the youngest students level so
to support the learning of them use different materials. Teacher Fatima she used it a laptop most that to play
them a song and explain her lesson. Why she explain by laptop because to show for the students to be attention
and follow her. For example, the writing lesson she showed for them how to write step by step. For the activities
I used many ways and materials, for example, the cards, balloons, and cars to interactive the students with the
actives and feel enjoyable. She gave them an award if they did well. There is reward chart on the board if they
did well also they gave them stickers. She ask and discuss about the actives at the end if the activity good or bad
because she wanted to know if the students likes it to do it again. I believe that my MST did well with the
students and encouraged them to the best. As I said before My MST did different learning styles and it must for
teachers to do a different learning styles for students because every student has a different way to understand
the lesson. Some students depend more on the music and songs and the other with the picture. So, it made me
think about how I can deliver the information for the students before. But with my MST I learned from her many
ways to explain the lesson with different learning styles. Whatever, when the teacher uses a different style it
impacts the students to improve and develop in many stations. When I observed, I saw that students were
goods when my MST use a different learning style. Finally, when I become a teacher, I will try to use a different
learning style to promote learning with students. The most important point is teacher and mothers are they who
educate the students to do best. As Vygotsky said, "the teacher and parents must scaffold children in learning."

Reflection 4: What was I learned from teaching practice.

At the ends of my teaching practice. I achieved my some goals and learned more. The most important
things are I learned is a focus on two things in same time. What are these? It is to manage my time and to
achieve and duties my work in a short time. Its a good because we are in college, and we have lots of projects.
So it is teaching me how to manage my time to submit my work on time Also, in our daily life when I make a
schedule to manage time I will do what I have and I improve another aspect in my life. I found that when I
become a teacher in future, I will be successful because it is important things that the teachers have it. In next
time, I will develop my skill, be creative and more confidence in myself. What do you feel are you limitation at
present? I sometimes felt that Im not well because I talked too quickly and I felt nervous because Im not
confidence of myself enough. So, I need to improve my personality to be a good teacher and a good spoken with
everyone. Also, as I said they were in grade one so it must to talked with them a slowly. I have the effective and
positive personality to help them to love studying. Also, the teachers teach students a good language. Also,
improve the students language. When I teach, I mostly ask students to work in groups because it helps them
develop their language. As Vygotsky said (Vygotsky's theory stresses the importance of communication with
others as a major factor in the development of a child's language, which stimulates the development of
thought). Also, its important to teach them a good language because it is needed in every job and their life in
future. I believe that as I teacher it is important to teach them the language well not only to collect the grades
in school. There is inconsistence in my teaching practice because before I think that the teacher went to her
classes without any planning. I also did like them just wrote a draft on my notebook. But now I am learning that
to write a lesson plan to organize my class and to be a perfect lesson. There are many aspects I enjoyed in my
teaching practice. Overall, I enjoy when my students need something and guiding them. I felt that I have a main
role in class. Also, if my MST gave me something to do it with them and they listen to me and do it. So, it makes
me enjoy it. Also, it makes me happier when I saw students care about their study. There are many aspects that I
have and need to give special attention. It is to learn the new strategies because when the teacher uses different
strategies is make her lesson perfect. It is also learning how to manage the classroom. To be a good teacher, you
must do more and learn more because the teacher is not only jobbing is to build the future generation. As
Vygotsky said, the teacher and parents must scaffold children in learning.

Conclusion:

Finally, the teacher has responsibility and role in school. So, the teaching practices assist us to explore
about this and to learn more and more about the teacher and school. What was I learned from TP is to do a
lesson plan because its help me to do a perfect lesson and to organize my time. Deal with a different level of
students and to use different learning styles. Also, built a relationship with students to know their hobbies and
skills, to broke any well between us. Make more activities and games to interactive with students. I achieve
some goals and taught more so Thanks College to give this chance to learn about the teacher life.
