After watching the documentary and listening to many different opinions and

thoughts I can conclude that Greeks certainly were influenced by neighboring

cultures. Their gods are same but they have different name. the half of Greek
language words are found in different nations` languages which also means that
they were in close contact with each other. But in the ethnic part the situation is
quiet different. Scientists cannot certainly say whether Greeks were black, white, or
even the mix. But I really liked the words of scientist in the beginning of the film: I
mean, the search for roots and origins is essentially an affirmation of identity. Ethnic
identity, religious identity, historical identity, national identity ... And that is almost
always a construction. There is no such thing as a pure Greek, or a pure Egyptian, or
a pure anything. Everything is hopelessly mixed up together, and I don't see why
they couldn't remain mixed up together. It seems to me that's the reality of the
world of the '90s. All nations are the mix of the people who lived before. The only
way to know exact origin of all nations is genomic analysis.
The Nazi called themselves as Arian people, but nowadays research says that Arian
people were actually ancestors of Iran people. Nazi wanted to show that they are
the offspring of Great Greeks and changed the history background of Arian nation.
However, now scientists showed that the Iranian person is more Arian that German
and Greek. Thats why we can say that the history was changed as time went by,
but we know that all the nations are the products of mix of our ancestors.
