ATOMIC BOMB DEBATE

Central questions that will be debated:

1) Was this technological advancement (Atomic Bomb) a positive
change in society? Or a negative?
2) Was it necessary for the US to drop Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki?
Information:
You should use the Pro/Con sheets, in class discussion, powerpoint and
any outside research to formulate your argument.
Requirements for debate:
-Come to class with your notes (prepared in advance) with what you
would like to bring up in the debate
-Bring any and all materials that you have that you can use for the
debate
-BE PREPARED!!!!
Be ready to select a side by the end of Tuesdays class!
