Summary of Key Learning Events and Instruction
Studentsuccessattransfer,meaning,andacquisitiondependsupon
Applying their learning through presentations weekly and writing
assessments at the end of each trimester. Reflection and
generalizations are made after each presentation via Sharing Report
rubric. The rubric is passed out after each presentation and taken
home in order to practice and get help at home or after school. The
objects will change weekly and be of the students choice in order to
personalize the learning process. Students will present an object to
the class and the goal is for them to use appropriate vocabulary,
complete sentences, fill the room with their voice, look at the audience
while they speak, and give the presentation independently. The
presentation is given as a burger with a topic sentence, minimum of
5 details, and an interesting conclusion. Then, the student will be able
to answer another students question with a complete sentence.
