Ask about the date, the day of today, and take the attendance).
Start with a short video that inform the students about what we will going to talk about. And
introduce the sounds, through the powerpoint slides.

Work on the ActivInspire program.
Materials:
Mini board.

Purpose:

Recognize the long O in the words.

Purpose achieved through:


Through the ActivInspire program. The students will recognize the sounds written in
the words. and then practice on extract the sounds from the words.
Instructions:

Ask the students to read the words.


After they read the words, they will extract one of the sounds (o,oa,or ow).
Each student will choose word,they will write it in the mini board, then they will circle
the sounds (o,oa, or ow).
How it will help both students and teacher?

Students:

Motivate them to learn because it combines fun and learning.


Activate to use the prior knowledge.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


Activity one: Matching.

Materials:

Worksheets.

Purpose:
Pronounce, read, and write words include the three sounds.
Purpose achieved through:
In this activity the students will pronounce, read, and write the long O. ( engage, explain, and
explore).
Instructions:
The students will get a schedule with the three sounds.
In one row, they should think and write words include one of the three sounds.
They will switch the paper with the other group to add more on what they wrote.
Then the students will choose words from each sound and say the sound.
