Wiley FROM: Range Staff DATE: 9 Nov II RE: Weapon Audit SUMMARY ‘The Range Staff was directed to conduct an audit of the Department’s firearms for the second half of 2011. This was conducted by directing the following units to conduct their own audits and report the results to the range staff. PATROL RIFLE PROGRAM: All of the weapons assigned to this unit are accounted for. cw: All of the weapons assigned to this section are accounted for UNACCOUNTED FOR WEAPONS: ‘The only weapons unaccounted for during this audit period were the responsibility of BFO-Eastmont. There are a total of 11 shotguns that could not be located during the audit, There are also shotguns on the audit sheet sent by BFO-Eastmont that show listed as being assigned to vehicles. RECOVERD WEAPONS: During this audit period a total of four weapons have been located that had been reported lost on the prior audit report, ‘Three of the weapons were turned into the BFO Equipment Room and it is unknown who turned them in or at what exact time, One of the weapons was reported by SOD on this audit request that was not on a prior one. This was conducted by directing all units in the department to conduct their own audits and report the results (o the range staff. That information was then compared to range records. EEE 1760 2, ma x62485 3. ACSO-XGA775 Both Few and Nash are on leave; they have been emailed. The pistol showing to ACSO was issued for the ACSO 151" Academy (PAG #4). Originally, there were two pistols stll showing checked out for the ACSO Academy. During the course of this audit, | contacted Sgt. Rob McElroy, who said 2 check was done and they were in possession of ‘one of the pistols. However, Sgt. McElroy said ACSO does hot have the unconfirmed pistol. Glock 22 ‘The following seven (7) Glock 22 pistols are unconfirmed and show issued to: 1, ED FH10283 2, EEE 80204 3. EP 2110170 4. VEE 810337 02 110205 mE 1810535 Ihave been in contact With NNN, who willbe dropping off the pistol shortly (he uses a personally-owned 45 Cal) QMBBPs on modified duty and | was unable to reach him via email, The others are on leave and | have not been able to reach them via email either.
