To Whom It May Concern:

I am pleased to recommend Jennifer Stirling for a teaching position. I have been
Jennifer's field supervisor from Alma College for the past sixteen weeks. Jennifer has
been responsible for a fifth grade classroom at Breckenridge Elementary School
consisting of a homogeneous grouping of students with different needs and levels of
achievement including special needs.
I find Jennifer to be a very energetic and enthusiastic teacher. During her student
teaching time, Jennifer completed unit and lesson plans, taught a multi-cultural lesson,
conducted student assessments, participated in parent/teacher conferences, conducted
a self-study, created a web page, participated in professional development, and
integrated technology into her teaching strategies. Jennifer has successfully
demonstrated differentiated learning in her diverse classroom.
Jennifer possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality. She has a great rapport with
the students she is working with. She is professionally dressed, articulate, and always
ready with a smile and a kind word for her students. Jennifer is a strong team player
and has a positive working relationship with the students and the staff.
I am confident that Jennifer Stirling will be an asset to any staff that she works with. She
is confident, knowledgeable, and has the skills of a seasoned teacher. I believe that she
will continue to grow and become even more effective as a teacher with further
opportunities. I highly recommend Jennifer for a teaching position. The school that hires
Jennifer will find itself fortunate to have a dedicated, energetic professional staff
