Dedicated, enthusiastic, and goal-driven educator with 2 years of hands-on

Placement in 4th grade and 1st grade General Education classes. Also provided
help with Kindergarten motor skill activities for four months. Volunteered to help
with 4th grade STAAR Writing tutoring. Tracked with a set class to help with any
one-on-one, or small group, math or science work. Provided and helped with lesson
plans and team collaboration. Attended RTI meetings, ARD meetings, Parent
Teacher Conference, after school activities, 504 meetings, and trainings. Hired to
tutor (5-9 students) 5th grade Science STAAR.

While working towards my associates, I would be placed at a school district to
observe a classroom for a set number of hours during a set semester. Palmer ISD,
A 8th grade math class for a semester. This allowed me to see classroom
management while keeping students engaged. Waxahachie ISD, Special Education
for a semester. Was able to realize different tools used to help multiple learning
styles. Maypearl Elementary, A 4th grade class for a semester. I became engaged
in lessons. Triggered higher order thinking skills and assisted with other classroom
needs.
Substitute, Palmer ISD; Palmer, TX 2010-2011
I would have to have a flexible schedule and be familiar with the computer
program Aesop. These jobs included any EC-12 classes. While in this position I was
placed in a Spanish, Art, Band, Music, ELAR, and Math classes. Requested to fill a
one week 4th grade position.
PRN/Temporary Aide, CenTex Arc; Waxahachie, TX Summer 2009
Summer temp. job as a assistant care taker of Adults with Mental Disabilities. Has
to assist with basic life skill needs. Ages ranged from 18-70 years old. Teach basic
cooking, laundry, and cleaning. These differed from each adult. Worked one-on-one
to achieve money management, and professional progression.
