Influence
Pablo Picasso had a mental disorder which made him go crazy. He doesnt follow the
rules during the Cubism period and decides that hes going to do what he wants. His
artwork is extraordinary and very out of the box. Picasso didnt have any influential
events in his life, but his mental disorder has made him out to be a creepy and
disturbed artist. None of his friends or loved ones liked his artwork but that didnt
have him change his style of work.

Characteristics
Analytical Cubism (1909-1912)

Synthetic Cubism(1911)

Analytical Cubism is the fragmentation of

geometric shapes to portray the natural
world. Colors that are included in these
paintings come from the monochromatic
scheme, some of these colors include ochre,
blue and gray.

Synthetic Cubism is basically the same as

Analytical but the size of the shapes are
smaller to make the focus of the painting
more noticeable

Cubismo analtico es la fragmentacin de

formas geomtricas para representar el
mundo natural. Los colores que se incluyen
en estas pinturas vienen del esquema
monocromtico, algunos de estos colores
incluyen azul y gris.

Cubismo sinttico es casi lo mismo que

analetico pero el tamano es mas chiquito
para hacer la pintura ms notable.

End of Period
Cubism is often divided into two phases: the analytical (1908-1912) and the
synthetic phase (1913-1920s)...
Although the Cubist period is believed to have ended around the 1920s, it still
influences and impacts artists today.

Cubismo es muchas veces divido en dos fases: el analitico (1908-1912) y el

syntetico fase
Aunque creen que el periodo de cubismo trmino por los aos 1920s, todava
influencia y impacta artista en el dia de hoy.

The Weeping Woman

In this picture Picasso was focusing on
the suffering in general of the people,
not of the civil war. The eyes of the of
the weeping women are meant to show
the horrible images of tragic events that
happen.
En esta foto Picasso est enfocado en el
sufrimiento general de la gente, no de la
guerra. Los ojos de la mujer muestra los
imgenes horribles de los eventos
trgico que sucedieron.

Three Musicians
This cubism artwork was inspired by
Picassos wife and ballet. On the left is a
clarinet player, in the middle is a
guitarist, and on the right is the singer.
This art piece shows harmony above the
fact that it overlaps.
Esta pieza de arte fue inspirada por la
esposa de Picasso y ballet. A la izquierda
est un hombre tocando la clarinete. En
el medio hay una guitarista y a la
derrecha hay un cantante. Esta pieza de
arte muestra harmonia.
