Dear Hiring Principal,
I am submitting my resume to acquire a teaching position at
your elementary school. I am confident that my qualifications
and experiences will demonstrate my ability to be a valued
member of your teaching team.
As a recent graduate from The University of New Mexico, I
have earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
with endorsements in Mathematics and English Language
Arts. I am experienced in teaching both primary and upper
elementary grades. As a student teacher, I designed lessons
that engaged all learners by using various GLAD strategies,
Kagan Cooperative Learning structures, and Promethean
Board technology. One of my main goals in the classroom is
to personalize my students learning so that each student is
working at their own pace toward goals they helped to set
for themselves. I have learned to utilize technology to
facilitate and accomplish this goal.
I am passionate about teaching and creating inviting
classroom communities where students feel safe and
confident as they learn together. I am a life long learner and
strive to be the best teacher I can be.
I would appreciate an opportunity to meet with you to
discuss how my skills and experience can meet the needs of
your school and students. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,

Denine Garcia
