SET INDUCTION
Using Microsoft PowerPoint, a table showing the different types of impact printers is projected onto the board. Two e
columns, 'Quality of output' and 'Type of printer', are also shown. A list of phrases are shown and the students are ask
fill out the table.
The students are informed that the same comparison must be done fo
impact printers after being taught.

CLOSURE
In closing, a summary of the work done is discussed and the tables that the students constructed during class are refer
pointing out the differences between the two major types of printers. The students were then asked to read up on th
hard copy output devices - Plotters, Microfilm and Robot/Control system.
