Who Will They Work

For?

What are sticky notes and how

do they work?
Sticky notes are a small piece of paper with an adhesive back
that works in any educational setting!

Sticky notes are used as support

materials because they are present in
most educational settings,
inexpensive, and easy to use. Here are
some ways in which sticky notes allow
children with ADHD to be successful:
1. Follow along with teacher-led
instruction or with
independent work.
2. Mark where they stop within
an assignment when they take
a break.
3. When practicing spelling
words, students can cover
spelling words with a sticky
note, write the word next to
the note, then compare their
spelling with the correct
spelling.
4. Help students practice
executing specific steps or
processes.
5. Keep students on tract by
using sticky notes at their
desks to remind them what
they need to do during a
specific time period.
6. Use sticky notes to have
students summarize and
interact with reading
materials.
7. Prompt students to ask
questions or make comments
when reading.
