Physical Education:
1st semester
Yoga, Fitness unit, Swimming, Dance, Spinning, Pilates, Hiking, Snow skiing and
Snowboarding
Units addresses the standards and mission statement that our Physical Education program

requires. Our program offers lifetime physical activities as well as encourage students to have
fun while striving to be successful and physically active in the future. Through traditional
lifetime activities students are able to acquire new skills and knowledge promoting a healthy
lifestyle. Yoga unit gives understanding about well-being throughout the lifetime. Semester starts
with yoga as well as end of the semester we will do one week yoga to relax. Fitness unit build
understanding of physical fitness. After that, students have swimming unit and it promotes a
lifelong fitness as well. Dance will promote physical fitness, cooperation and lifelong fitness for
students. Spinning and Pilates gives opportunity to get familiar something new that students
might not have never try before. Also, they can experience success during the classes. Our
program will promote healthy lifestyle through these activities. All activities works toward our
school mission statements by creating a better school environment through different kinds of
activities.
2nd semester
Pickelball, Badminton, Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Floor hockey, Soccer, Football, Handball and
Basketball.
Second semester focus on traditional sports. Activities promotes lifetime physical fitness while
working on cooperative and team building skills. At the same time, activities will encourage
students to have fun while striving to be successful. 2nd offers students to learn new skills and
knowledge promoting a healthy lifestyle. Activities are an appropriate because students have
developed, a level of understanding of team work. Also, these sports include a team work
component as well as being a lifelong sport. All activities works toward our school mission
statements.
