sure our nametags go on our chest where we can see them and our pedometers are on our waste bands faced upright and not on our pockets
please. When your name tags and pedometers are on, walk to the center circle and have a seat.

There will be 3 to 5 aliens or taggers and the remaining students will be
astronauts. The aliens and astronauts will all be (walking, jumping,
skipping) in outer space within the boundaries. The aliens are trying
to get rid of the astronauts by tagging them because they are putting
satellites all over space. If an astronaut" is tagged by an alien they will

go to the black hole or center circle. The only way to escape the black

hole is for another astronaut to come rescue them by doing into the
black hole and doing a fitness activity together (5 push-ups) An
astronaut can only rescue one other astronaut at a time. If an
astronaut wants to be safe from being tagged they can go inside one of
the three space stations or hula hoops and do a fitness activity (jumping
jacks) Only one astronaut" is allowed inside a space station at a time.
If another astronaut comes into the space station the other astronaut"
We are going to get warmed up by playing a game called Alien and Astronaut Tag. For this game we are going to need three taggers. The
taggers are aliens. Everyone else will be Astronauts. The point of the game is for the aliens to tag the astronauts because the aliens are getting
mad at the astronauts for putting satellites in space. If an astronaut gets tagged they will go to the center circle or black hole. To escape the
black hole another astronaut has to go into the black hole and you both have to do 5 pushups to get out. You can only save one other astronaut
at a time. If you are an astronaut and you want to be safe from being tagged you can go in one of the three hula hoops or space stations. If you
go into a space station you have to do jumping jacks the whole time you are in there. If another astronaut comes in the space station you have
to leave. And you cant go back into that space station again until you go to another space station. Are there any questions? Lets remember to
stay inside the lines and keep your heads up so you dint run into anyone. And aliens, we are tagging respectfully. We are not hitting each other.

Today we are going to be working on striking the ball. For the first activity we are going to be practicing hitting the ball on our forehand to our
partner who will catch it. So lets go over the cues of hitting the ball again. The first cue is to keep your eyes on the ball. The second cue is to
keep a firm wrist. The third cue is to keep your side to the target. The fourth cue is to step with your opposite foot. And the last cue is to follow
through. (Give a demonstration of this activity with Mr. Ramirez from different angles) Lets remember to be safe and today. Lets be aware of
our self-space so we dont run into anyone, and keep our paddles to ourselves at all times.
