Introduction:
This is a game that is fun to do on a rainy day or while you wait. It is a
form of Telephone but instead of a saying that I start off to whisper I will
say random letters that must get repeated throughout the circle. I will
start off with one letter to get passed around to get use to what we have
to do and each child will have to listen closely to what the other person
has to them. You may not ask the person what they said after they have
said it. At the end of the circle we want to be sure we hear the same
letters we started off with.
Active Involvement: the children must listen closely to what the last
person has told them and also repeat it to the next person beside them.
Questions or comments to support learning: to make the game
harder I would add more letters and to keep it easy I would only repeat 3
letters
Ending Game/Activity: this game helps children listen carefully
and communicate efficiently. I feel this game is good to help
children get to know their letters and at the end I hold up each
egg and show them the letters they were repeating. how did you
