What is the definition of Esports?

eSports (also known as electronic sports, esports, esports, competitive (video) gaming, professional (video) gaming, or pro-gaming) can
be defined as a form of sports where the primary aspects of the sport are facilitated
by electronic systems; the input of players and teams as well as the output of the
eSports system are mediated by human-computer interfaces. [1] Most commonly
eSports take the form of organized multiplayer video game competitions, particularly
between professional players. The most common video game genres associated with
eSports are real-time strategy, fighting, first-person shooter (FPS), and multiplayer
online battle arena(MOBA).

What is the definition of a sport?
An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or
team competes against another or others for entertainment. The main argument
for why video games should be classed as a sport is that they are a mental
challenge, they take team work and practice to be able to compete on the level
of others. Even though the tasks are not physical which is the main argument
against it, they require a lot of personal/mental skills such as quick
thinking/reflexes, teamwork, concentration and many other mental skills.
However the main definition of a sport is that is it physical and many people feel
offended when something that is classed as a sport include minimum physical
activity.
