Five-Year Career Plan Isaac Pickett

The Five-Year Career Plan is designed to help me develop skills in my current

education or to prepare for your next job. My five-year plan is very much an individual
and personal plan, and is designed to facilitate my growth, development and
advancement. I always use the SMART model when setting goals: Specific,
Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and within a specific Timeframe.
Plan Period: From - September 2015 To - June 2019
My Current Position: Student at Shipley College
My Long-Term Goal: Probation worker
Intermediate Steps Over the Next Five Years to Reach My Goal
Try to set two or three short term goals (i.e. those in the next 2 years) and
the remainder for the medium term (following 3 years)
To compete the first year of my degree too a 2:1 standard.
Year One
To find a part time job to fund my studies
To learn how to drive to to forfil future skills for jobs
To compete B-tech Nation Exended Deploma in Business

To compete the second year of my degree too a 2:1 standard.

Gain volentary expiance through the university to forfil future skills for
jobs.
To find a part time job to fund my studies.
To complete my final year of my degree with the overall grade of 2:1.
To find a part time job to fund my studies.
Find my first job to gain skills I need for future career goals.

Personal Development Objectives to Meet My Goals
(what do I need to do to get where I want to be?)
To get where I need to be in this future, I need to be able to be able to complete my Btech as well as my degree in Socail Work. I will also need to get my drivers licanse to
commute around the local and wider area. Also I will need to develop my skills as a
socail worker so I am employable. Finallly I will need do develop my time managment
skills as i will need to handle a degree and a part time job for three years.

How can others help me accomplish these objectives?

To recieve exra funding from my parents while doing my degree, as wellas being
motivated by my family and friends to get throuhj my degree. Also to recieve funding
from my parents while getting my drivers licance.
